My story is similar to that of many who took piano lessons as a child.  Your mother forces you to practice throughout the week with the only motivation being a quarter for every half hour practiced.  I started piano lessons around the age of 7, but there wasn’t any meaning attached to it for the first few years.  My first real experience with music came from when my elementary school principal asked me to perform a piece at the memorial service of a student that had lost a fight with cancer.  It was during that experience I realized the dramatic effect that music can have on the lives of others.  Since then I have developed a great love and skill for piano, learning under the tutelage of international concert performer, Dr. David Glen Hatch.  There have been numerous competitions, events, performances that have been given during those years.  In 2014, I was a member of an international touring group in New Zealand performing in various concert halls in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.  It was at the request of a dear friend that I performed my first wedding reception and immediately fell in love with sharing music in this manner.
